Some new happenings

It has been months since I have given an update! So here's what has been going on:

1. I now have a new shop kitchen, work studio and consultation area (pictures coming soon)! Thanks to my sweet husband for all his extra work in making this area perfect. I love all my stainless worktables and my own "cake" refrigerator.

2. I now have all my licences, permits and paperwork that make me "officially" in business!

3. I have a growing number of faithful customers, all who have been so supportive over the last few years! I now have a complimentary "Cake Club" that frequent cake buyers can join. You qualify with the order of your third custom cake. (This doesn't apply to cookies or cupcakes.) You then receive $15 off per custom cake order!

Movin' Slowly Along

Well, we're not finished with the shop yet! In fact we haven't started it. Hopefully next year we will be able to do some more work to get the kitchen finished. So for now we are just laying low and waiting for a generous benefactor who wants to help a start-up cake shop get off the ground! Pin It

Permits and paperwork are in process, and we are beginning to work on the new kitchen/consultation space! So, hopefully by mid-fall we will "officially" be up and running. Pin It

Coming Soon...

Tonight I officially request my "home occupation permit" to open Flour & Fondant Specialty Cakes in my home! I am excited and nervous about everything that it takes to set this all up.

In the meantime, my brother-in-law, Joel, is working on my website and logo. (see above!) Hopefully we will have that up and running soon, too. I will try to keep you all updated. Pin It
